Testimony to medieval architecture
Before its modernization, a hermit kept the craftsman house intact
If you want to see something different try this house at no.26 Stadtgraben built in 1270. Standing right in the centre of the old town this impressive historic building has been preserved as it was from the middles ages. It has been the setting for many artisan businesses and gives a glimpse into the real lives of an assortment of different craftsmen.
Later on, the house was owned by a hermit who carefully preserved all its features which means that every floor is a jewel and leaves a striking impression. A social and cultural gem for those who like to be transported to the past.
